Ashley is the Owner and Operating Director of Lillian Gardens since its opening in 2016. Under her direction, she has transformed the business and its 1859 antebellum home and gardens into the successful and award-winning venue it is now recognized as. Although being a passionate event coordinator and business owner is a lifelong dream come true, Ashley’s unlikely journey started almost 20 years ago when she took a job as a receptionist to pay her way through college. Over the next 12 years, her tireless drive and work ethic allowed Ashley to rapidly progress through the ranks of a large, publicly-traded company, eventually being promoted to Finance Manager of the North Americas business. When seemingly at the pinnacle of her corporate career, she traded in surety, salary, and the perks that come with that, to own and manage her own business. With that decision, Lillian Gardens was born. Ashley is always looking for her next opportunity, and admits her ambition can seemingly be one of her faults at times, but she is learning!
Ashley is now a prominent member of the Newnan community, involved with numerous local charities, board member of downtown development authority, and a member of the chamber of commerce. Ashley is a wife and mother of two children and two bonus children and loves her fur babies. She enjoys travel, fine wine and quality time with family and friends strolling through her beloved community whether it be shopping at her favorite downtown boutiques, stopping by Ace to indulge in her favorite cider, or just enjoying being amongst her fellow neighbors. While Newnan became Ashley’s home only 5 years ago, she has developed a sincere appreciation for the downtown community and a deep-rooted passion to preserve the unique characteristics that make downtown Newnan so incredibly special.
With Ashley’s savvy business mindset, love and dedication for her community, and determination for continuous improvement through collaboration, Ashley would be honored to serve on Newnan’s Downtown Development Authority, and vows to be a committed servant to the community.
